it was bad enough when this seller was selling onesies twosies on eBay... but
200 copies? at 200 each? With no mention that you can just ring up S@H and get
it yourself? Not very community friendly.
Dear LEGO,
If you want us to respect the capacity constraints you placed on this set and
not try to circumvent them, please make sure that this seller is either an
authorised reseller of yours (and let us know that to avoid confusion) or
enforce the capacity controls against them as well.
200 copies is a bit much to stomach when you singled out Troy (who, by the
way, only buys stuff when its on clearance or when you yourself are willing
to sell it to him in large quantities) the way you did in your announcement
post. Youre fingering the wrong leech, er, person.
Figure out the delivery addresses hes using and shut him down, that would be
my advice.
While its true that some feel its the duty of sellers to separate suckers
from their money, Id prefer you not enabling that.

We live in a capalistic world and if the market is willing to pay such a price
for the set then so be it. What is the problem?
Oh wait everyone is mad that he got 200 sets and insert your name here only
got 1 to 5 because TLC limited the amount.

1st you are crying about the color change,
then you are crying about the flesh color,
then you are crying about this lego set NOT going public,
now you are crying that s/he got 200 of these sets.
In the past few months, Ive dreaded coming to LUGNET due to all the amount of
crying you all are doing. I remember when I could come to LUGNET and get tips &
tricks on how to build stuff, new train ideas, new star wars ships, the latest
LDraw part that was being release, etc...
Now-a-days its all crying, crying, crying...
Sorry but Ive been holding this back for too long and just felt that I had to
write this out. Flame me if you want, but you guys/girls are getting worse than
the 7 years old at Toys R Us that did not get a toy.
ps.
Has anyone bother to contact the seller direclty as have him/her show proof that
he/she indeed has 200 sets? A picture would work?

| (...) You know, I get tired of hearing how we live in a capitalistic world. We don't. Not hardly. (if you disagree, take it to off-topic.debate). But even so, this particular seller isn't (apparently) demonstrating much capitalism. LEGO placed a (...) (21 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)
