(...) Maggie, Maggie, Maggie... Don't you recall that I have A VICIOUS STREAK A MILE WIDE? But thanks for forcing me to prove this in a public forum. (...) Um, I don't think he dares do that... because if he did, his sweetie might give him a kiss. And you know what happens to frogs when they get kissed! They turn into princes. That would completely destroy his rep here. ++Lar (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Previously, I wrote this: (...) Today I bid on this: Lego #5192 CYPRESS TREES X6 SERVICE BAGS! Item # 1609955387 which closed at $109.50 USD. Why didn't I win this auction?   Re: Legal ramifications of posting? (Was: Re: A campaign for sun and planet gears)

Your concern has merit. A posting on a news group could most definately be viewed a "prior art" and effectively prevent Lego from receiving a patent on the design. And from some of the Lego history I have viewed on the web they appear to be very (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

IANAL, but it seems to me that: Most of the pieces that were mentioned in this thread (and other related threads) are simple modifications of existing pieces (make XYZW part shorter, separate ABCD into two pieces, remove the bump from 1234...) (...) 6077, the Knight's Procession, IS castle Lego to me. I still remember when I was 7 or 8 and my brother and I only had some space sets and the early Knight's Joust set, so we used grey flagpoles jammed on the end of the minifig hand as swords. (...) My number one choice would be 677/6077, they still use all these molds and so many people would buy them, I bet this wold become the number one army type of AFOL Kingdoms.
