Keep in mind that I Am Not A Lawyer :-)
In my opinion, since TLC was informed (and acknowledged such information)
about the nature of the photographs the AFOL's in question have a legitimate
reason for charging TLC with copyright violation. Until the end of the
voting TLC could have claimed that they were "still working on it." With
the voting over they cannot make that claim, as SOMEBODY had to setup the
new pages.
It would be interesting to find out if the AFOL's in question contacted TLC
about this. If I recall correctly TLC doesn't have to act on third-party
info...it's up to the offended party to initiate action. Even so, the
honorable thing to do would have been to act on Ben's information ASAP. To
do otherwise is a poor reflection on TLC, but that seems to be a common
occurrence these days...
