  Re - Realease Old Themes?

I think that TLC should Re - release some of the popular older themes I think they would sell very well because most people here missed out on heaps cool sets when they went through there dark age(s). - James Walker (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Idea for new Town set

I attened the Canada Day fireworks earlier tonight (yikes, its past midnight! Make that yesterday!). I though, hmm, now how could I make this in a Lego town? Here is my idea for a set: "Fireworks Celebration" - A completely non-juniorized fire truck (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Does Lego replace broken parts?

(...) Thanks! I recieved an e-mail yesterday (Thanks Chris!) giving me the number (1800-453-4677) and I spoke to a very nice an courteous lady. The parts that I recently broke (bad heavy object landing on legos incident...) are going to be replaced! (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Does Lego replace broken parts?

(...) Yes. It's called "LEGO Consumer Services", IIRC. (...) Sorry, can't remember where I last saw the number, but I know there are folks here who probably have the number handy. HTH, and that I didn't mess up the facts (I'm quite a mess myself (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Does Lego replace broken parts?

Hello. I was wondering if Lego replaces broken/damaged parts. I have the 4995 Cargo train and a large book fell on the front of the cab. It broke the large train cab and the yellow light holder thing that fits under it... If Lego does replace parts, (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Haunted House Theme

I've said this before, but I would like to hear others thoughts on this... I think that a Haunted House series would be great! It could be used with Castle, Pirates, Town, Western, and Adventures. This could be the coolest range of all! My guess is (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: I want ships

(...) Hello Tom That looks very nice! I've been trying the same thing, and would suggest putting the bottom plate at the top or in the middle instead, this puts the section more in line with the rest of the hull (and makes it a bit more fragile, I (...)   Re: I want ships

(...) True!! That looks great, I'll make sure to try that once I gang up some slopes for that. Thanks for the idea? (...) Why? A lot of reasons. Mainly I'm just having a bad day, and it happens to be my birthday. I could give you more details, but (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: I want ships

(...) Hi Shiri, There may not be any one piece midsections for a TC ship hull, but as you know, you can always create your own. I created a page that shows the results of doing just that. Check it out: (URL) think the results are pretty nice! And it (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: I want ships

(...) Even a sensible *castle* head like me replies with "Mmmm...mmm, Pirates". TLC would have me hooked if they had pirates, the only reason I never got into them is becasue they were to expensive by the time I could earn my own money. Going (...)   Re: I want ships

"Stephen A. Campbell" wrote a bunch of worthy stuff you can go read in his post. To which any sensible pirate head ought be replying 'Mmmm...mmm, Pirates' I particularly agree in respect of the brown hulls. Waaaayyyy more authentic. Richard Still (...)   Re: Idea for new theme

(...) I think this would be excellent also! Given the specialized head gear, pharoah figs, and graphics of the Egyptian adventurer sets, I actually thought that Lego Castle was going to go retro and do a ancient egyptian theme...So far I have been (...)   Re: Idea for new theme

(...) This is a GREAT idea! I can imagine other ancient cultures as well, but Egyptian would easily be my favourite. -- David Schilling (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

Aside from the action possibilities, an 'Ancient Egypt' theme would make Ancient something besides a fan-created theme. Yes, if you aren't aware, check out (URL) nobody was happy enough with their pyramid to put it in there. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

(...) OOOOHHH!! James I like the way you think!!. Now there's a theme with room for expansion. Nile barges, pyramids with secret openings, mummies that you can unwrap and rewrap. I hope Lego is paying attention. (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Idea for new theme

I think that lego should releise a new theme involving egypt without the adventurers. The theme could have high preists and egyptian queens. it would have lots of new buildings. Then you could take the hats off the minifigs and put them on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: I want ships

(...) Don't we all, Corrine. It's too bad the the Armada subtheme didn't have more legs. A 16-wide Blue and white ship would have given the Armada a little weight, as would a nice coastal seaport, or a fort of some kind. Of the Armada sets that did (...)   Re: Crosspost from rec.toys.lego on military Lego

fifteen or twenty years ago when tente was still around, they made a great wwII tank with rubber treads. The only thing missing were posable minifigures. I would buy one in a second.
