Idea for new Town set

I attened the Canada Day fireworks earlier tonight (yikes, its past midnight!
Make that yesterday!). I though, hmm, now how could I make this in a Lego
town? Here is my idea for a set:
"Fireworks Celebration"
- A completely non-juniorized fire truck
- A catapult-like device that flings 1x1 trans coloured plates into the air
- A stand with minifigs watching from a safe distance away
I have not yet built a prototype for this, but I will get around to it. I plan
to use the large Western-style barrel on the catapult, because it hold a lot of
1x1 plates. My fire vehicle might be one of those trucks tht holds all the
water in the back, since I haven't seen one for lego before, but I saw one
tonight/yesterday. My minifig stand will have to be built from scratch, as I
don't have a soccer set yet, but it will be small.
