  Re: Help ! (please)

[FUT: lugnet.db.scans] (...) I've also had problems with some images- they're recognised as JPEGs by all my applications but using some old weird Perl [1] code to generate image sizes gives an error. My examples are 6893-01.jpg, and 1499-01.jpg, (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.db.scans)

  6057 Sail Scan

If anyone is interested, I have a 600dpi scan of the sail for the Sea Serpent. The file is 2.49MB JPG, but shows all details including the cloth texture. I have printed it on dull photo paper, and it looks pretty good. If anyone has access to a (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

(...) This is not QUITE the same thing... but LUGNET's engine knows which sets have instruction scans and which don't. There's a background job there that keeps things up to date as scans get added, I think. So if you go in through LUGNET you can (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Instruction scans through EBay

Anytime I see an old/rare Lego set for sale on Ebay and the instructions are not available on brickshelf, I send an e-mail to the seller (or the buyer) asking for scans of the instructions. Most are happy to comply. (27 years ago, 6-Sep-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Scans uploaded, critique wanted

Woohoo! First to Post! ;) I just uploaded some items to brickshelf.com, and I wanted to know what people thought of my scanning technique. The four most recent additions are mine.
