        I'm not quite as computer literate as everyone here on LUGNET, so I
have to ask, what is "slurping"?  I've never even heard of that term before.
For all I know, I could've been "slurping" every time I visited Peeron and not
even known it.  I don't want to ruin a good thing for everyone else, so could
someone please explain exactly what we can and can't do while at Peeron?

(...) sorry - didn't mean to get technical :) "Slurping" is using a program to copy the whole site to your local computer. It's usually done with special programs, though I think you can get the same effect by using a "Saveing for offline viewing" (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

We are trying to allow everyone to use peeron, so we have removed the blocks for the t-online and the wanadoo users. We still have to pay for bandwidth though, so please, don't abuse our trust. We will block any user caught slurping, to avoid having (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.db.inv) !!
