  Re: Peeron fight

Does Peeron have a public API, like an XML-based web service? (18 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron fight

(...) Yes, it slurps the html pages and tries to parse them. I won't comment on what I think about parsing HTML ;) (18 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron fight

(...) And the Peeron version allows you to specify parts that you own rather than just sets. So if you got some stuff at Pick-A-Brick or BrickLink, you have the option of acknowledging that you have it. Handy in terms of being able to pick your list (...)   Re: Peeron fight

(...) Very similar to this? (URL) that the Peeron version uses the sets you indicated you own, instead of an arbitrary list. (18 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Peeron fight

I found this (URL) while searching for a peeron link. Looks quite interesting. Tim (18 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron and PICSL updates

(...) D'oh! (...) The best link to use is: (URL) the instructions with peeron entries can be linked that way. ROSCO (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron and PICSL updates

(...) Yah, need to figure out the CSS to fix that. (...) I guess so! Look under the "Need Building Instructions" - "FREE Download: Available from PICSL". (...) I didn't forget about that, and even managed to get LEGO's ok for it. Just a matter of (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron and PICSL updates

(...) I'd also like to echo others' thanks for this great resource, which I still use regularly. (...) I'm probably blind, but I can't see a link on the set page to the PICSL entry, did I miss it? I think it would be a useful addition. Also, I'm (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) I too would like to thank Dan for this awesome resource. I've just recently re-discovered it and it has been of tremendous assistance with various projects I'm working on. THANKS, Dan!! ..joseph g (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) No comments or suggestions Dan, but a huge thank you for continuing this amazing service for those of us that use your site. Janey "Red Brick" (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Peeron and PICSL updates

Just a quick update on what's going on with Peeron and PICSL recently: - With the new year, Peeron is now able to show instructions from 2003. 36 were made available at midnight on the 1st, and since then, 11 more were added. See all available 2003 (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.announce.peeron, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.db.scans) !

New set: request picture of set 5493

Could anyone please shoot and submit a picture of set #5493 - Limited Edition Tub ? I'm making an inventory of this set, but due to a broken camera I'm unable to submit a picture myself. The set is currently available in European Toys'R'Us shops, in (...) (18 years ago, 1-Nov-06, to lugnet.db.inv, FTX)

  Re: Member "Set Lists"

(...) Nod - it's not a major change in any means. It's still a change to a published API to the database, and being completely open, we have no way of know who (if anyone) is using it. I've updated peeron to deal with the new values (all it took was (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jul-06, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Member "Set Lists"

(...) Hi Dan, sorry, I haven't known. It was about inserting an extra column between "name" and "pcs." only. Do you know who else could be affected? I would advice these people via eMail. Leg Godt! René (18 years ago, 11-Jul-06, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.db.inv)

  8285 duplicate entry

There are currently 2 entries for set 8285, one without a title. There should probably only be one 8?) See: (URL) (18 years ago, 5-Jul-06, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Tyre (tire) nomenclature

(...) Also lugnet.db.brictionary ;) (...) I support the idea of standardised names for tyres - I would probably vote for millimetres, as that would match better with the most of the ones molded by TLC. And I would further suggest that wheel (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary, FTX)

  LEGO set instruction downloads cross-referenced

As some of you may know, LEGO has available online instructions from many of their sets available to download. Many can be directly downloaded (URL) here>, but there are also many that aren't indexed in that database. Customer service are happy to (...)   Re: Theme heirarchy for set 4416 'Robo Pod'

(...) Likely they do, I just purchased a 4416 and noticed it after I was home. (...) Examining a 4339 Aqua Pod (from 2005), I see nothing on the packaging or instruction book that indicates 'Designer' or 'Creator'. Same with a 65535 X-Pod playoff (...)   Re: Theme heirarchy for set 4416 'Robo Pod'

(...) Actually, don't all the 2006 Designer sets say "Creator"? And I don't remember any sets from 2004--2005 that said "Creator". . . (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.admin.database)

Theme heirarchy for set 4416 'Robo Pod'

LUGNET currently has set 4416 'Robo Pod' listed as .. LEGO > SYSTEM > Designer > X-Pods The packaging for the item says 'Creator' and 'X-Pod' on it. Should the X-Pods be moved to .. LEGO > Creator > X-Pods ?? thx, Ray (19 years ago, 6-Jan-06, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.admin.database)
