I'm not going to quote it because I agree with it in total. I'd like to add some related thoughts that have been nagging at me ever since I first encountered Brick{Bay,Link} and LDraw... The thing that bugs me most is the names given to the parts. (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Thoughts on Parts Taxonomy

I like the idea of better indexing, and would be happy to incorporate any new method into peeron - now someone just has to write it :) I know that indexing by a non-unique field (which is the part number) is a bad thing - it's just the easiest and (...)   Thoughts on Parts Taxonomy

Currently, there are three active major part databases out there: Partsref, Peeron Inventories, and the BrickLink Catalog. (...) I've verifed this, and it's good! Please ignore my previous inventory, as it contains a few mistakes: (URL) would also add these notes to Thomas Garrison's inventory: Theme: Star Wars (Technic) Year: 2002 Pcs: 400 (count on box) Figs: 0 MSRP: (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Inventory for set 8010 Darth Vader

(...) Consider this inventory scratched. There are a few mistakes. For a correct inventory, see this one: (URL) (23 years ago, 7-May-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Inventory of

(...) does this count as a reminder? :) names don't really matter, as long as the ldraw number is there. Only if it's missing from our master list, or if it doesn't have an ldraw number, only then the name is considered :) Dan (23 years ago, 6-May-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Inventory of

Anyone can use this inventory. It's not completely Peeron-compliant yet, but someone remind me and I'll fix it. Many of the part names are from BrickLink (which explains weird stuff like "Bionicle . . ." rather than "Technic Bionicle. . ."), and I (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-02, to lugnet.db.inv)
