Re: Easiest way to get an inventory

(...) Yeah, I have been doing them manually, too. A ton of parts lookups in partsref, let me tell you... I like databases since I can work with the keyboard and forget the mouse so I create inventories as a database (.dbf) and then save again as (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Peeron Guidelines

I realize this isn't supposed to be a discussion forum, but I'm not clear on where else to put something like this. I am wondering if it would be possible to mark up inventories with some verification data. For instance, with some inventories (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  1846 inventory

I received this set second-hand (with pieces and idea sheet, but no polybag), but I can build all of the models on the idea sheet and the part count (25) matches that shown in the Lugnet set database. The formatting may not be quite what people (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  7000 Young Ankylosaurus

The formatting may not be quite what people like, but it's short enough that you can convert it yourself. :) The part numbers used are those from the Peeron list. One part (used in the tail of 7000 and in the neck of 7001) does not appear to have a (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  6748 Boulder Cliff Canyon

Here's an inventory of the 6748 Boulder Cliff Canyon set. This was done from an unopened package so I think I got everything correct. Anyone who wants it can use it. Inventory for set #6748: Boulder Cliff Canyon Theme: LEGO / SYSTEM / Western / (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Easiest way to get an inventory

You know, I've been doing these for months in plain text using Notepad. I wish I'd had enough brains to ask if there were an easier way. :) (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Easiest way to get an inventory

(...) Well, the way we format our inventories is a tab delimited text file, with the following columns: Quantity, Ldraw #, Bag number (if applicable), Color, Description, Notes. To do that efficiently, we use a couple of excel sheets that will do (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

Easiest way to get an inventory

Hi, I've received a MISB <set:8865> and I noticed it didn't have a piece count on LUGNET's set reference. I thought about counting the # of pieces, and then I thought that (if it's not too much extra effort) I might as well get a complete inventory. (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  6273 Rock Island Refuge

Here's an inventory of the 6273 Rock Island Refuge set. This was done from an unopened package so I think I got everything correct. Anyone who wants it can use it. Note that this has corrections to the listing on Peeron. Inventory for set #6273: (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)
