  Control Lab software

Does anyone know where to download or possibly buy the PC version of the Control Lab software that came with the 9751 interface? From the Peeron site, I think this might be the software, but I am not sure. 943-1 Control Lab Starter Pack, MS-DOS I am (...) (17 years ago, 15-Nov-07, to lugnet.dacta)

Dacta set 9607 not in LUGNET database

There's a Dacta set on eBay right now that isn't in the LUGNET set database. If anyone has any info on it (such as year of release, msrp, etc) I'd like to hear it. The set should probably be added to the database if possible. It's #9607 (...) (18 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.dacta, FTX)

Re: Anybody tried ActiveX for Control Lab?

Hi, I realize your post is several years old now, but I have had the same problem. I just recently purchased an older type Touch Sensor - one with the wires still attached. It will be interesting to see if I still have the same problem. Dan "Lars (...) (18 years ago, 20-Oct-06, to lugnet.dacta)

  Instructions Needed for 9725

Howdy all, A teacher emailed me asking where she could find instructions for set: Amusement Park 9725. She has 5 of these sets, but no manuals. Can this be found online somewhere? Thanks for your help! best, TJ (19 years ago, 12-Jul-05, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.edu, lugnet.dacta)

Re: Anybody knows anything about this board?

(...) Looks like the old Dacta ROBOLAB. It used some sort of RS232 interface to hook it up to a Commodore/MSX/PC computer, and kids could program whatever they built using included software. It used 4.5V motors and some special sensors. Do a search (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dacta, lugnet.edu, lugnet.general)

Anybody knows anything about this board?

HT see large images of DACTA at Pitsco

At the PLD website, clicking on the 'larger image' button doesn't produce. That's because of a directory typo. I mailed them about this ages ago and it's still broken. If you want to see those XL images, do this: The URLs for standard images are in (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.dacta)

  Mindstorms 3.0 Wish List

I'm giving a presentation about Mindstorms on Wednesday. I have a slide near the end that talks about all the stuff I know people want to see added. Here's what I have so far: RCX === RC communication (but keep the IR port, too) more I/O ports (...)   Re: List of Dacta products - 1079?

List of Dacta products - 1079?

Is there a list of Dacta products like there are of normal Lego products. I obtained 1079 a puzzle with pictures of elephants, tigers & bears and would like to know more about it. Thanks, David (21 years ago, 9-Oct-03, to lugnet.dacta)

  The right picture?

Hi all, I'd like to know if Pitsco and Moore Educational are *still* selling the "older" version of set #9293, featuring the old type of bikes: (URL) the image, which is the same at Moore, I'd say they are. BUT I've only recently noticed that LEGO (...) (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.dacta)

  Another Use for Dino Cans

I got the 2003 Pitsco catalog yesterday and got chuckle for the use of the dino cans for the "eLab Green Car" set. See (URL) looks like they have some new parts packs, so it would be worth getting a copy of the catalog. (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.dacta)

  Re: Old copies of RoboLab

  Re: Old copies of RoboLab

(...) Are you talking about the "Control Lab" system? The one with eight (!) inputs and eight (!!) outputs? I've got the Macintosh software, somewhere. If LEGO says it is "obsolete", would they mind if someone made a copy of it for you? Otherwise, (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.dacta)

  Old copies of RoboLab

I have "inherited" 9 Dacta Sets from our local FE college. They are now upgrading the lab and installing new Mindstorm sets. So I have all this lego and 9 control units. Unfortunately ALL of the original Robolab software was "destroyed" long ago. I (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.dacta)

  Re: Robolab 2.5.0 -> 2.5.1 ???

Mike, As recommended by others in this thread I contacted Lego Dacta and they sent me (free of charge) a CD-ROM with the 2.5.1 upgrade on it. This can only be applied to an installed copy of 2.5.0. I have not found the 2.5.1 upgrade anywhere on the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.dacta)
