offical response from Lego when I asked as to where I could buy the software

Does anyone know where I can still buy a legit copy of this software? My 8 yr
old son is driving me mad.

Many thanks

Mark.

Are you talking about the "Control Lab" system?  The one with eight (!)
inputs and eight (!!) outputs?  I've got the Macintosh software, somewhere.
If LEGO says it is "obsolete", would they mind if someone made a copy of it
for you?

Otherwise, try Pitsco:  http://www.pitsco-legodacta.com/ -- they sell all
sorts of sets designed for school use.

I know someone (*ahem*!) that wouldn't mind another of those Dacta control
units...  <grin>
