   I decided to take a closer look at the gold bricks... (URL) photos are of the regular and Duplo 50th anniversary bricks, along with a 1 ounce 24k gold coin (on the left) and a 1/2 ounce 22k gold coin (on the right). The 22k has a bit lighter color (...)    They have definately made bricks and figs in silver before. I have seen them in LEGO brand shops (on chains as jewellery) A friend has a silver modulex brick on a chain too :) not sure if they have ever done the same in gold (19 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)
