  Re: Quality issue - update

(...) Well, perception is everything. It is a quality issue for people who build with Lego; it is not a quality issue for the Lego Company's Quality Assurance department. (...) I perceive this as a problem for a company making parts that supposedly (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Or >6%. I "perceive" that as being quite high(?). ;) (...) Surley advances in technology should have enabled tolerances to be improved? (...) I feel a group hug coming on. Scott A (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Quality issue - update

Jake, I have no problem with the quality. From time to time there will always be parts that are not perfect. Take for example the 1 dot color parts. Sometimes a part has the bottom broken or cracked. While other times they don't. It happens. We are (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Quality issue - update

(...) When I check sets and brick I've bought in the last 12 months, I perceived several quality issues I never noticed in the years before. Not only Bens and Juergens plates, but also breaking bricks, bricks with "wrong" grip (Studs too small, (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, lugnet.general)

  Quality issue - update

I've had a number of people ask me about a perceived quality issue lately: If you take a number of plates and create two or more large stacks, they tend to be differing heights. For example, Ben has posted some photos here: (URL) I mentioned that (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, lugnet.general, FTX) !

  Re: New container ship color

(...) Jake, I agree, I love working for the company as well--I wonder how much bad kharma I've had for it to balance out with my training job! Let's see...I travel, I get to tell people about LEGO, and I get paid for it? Ok, how cool is that? -Scott (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: New container ship color

SWEEEEEEETTTTT!!!! I'd better start saving now so I can afford the ten I'm gonna buy. Ok, so probably only two...or one. But I'll still buy one. It'll be nice to have a bunch of regular bricks in a rare color. -Stefan- (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: New container ship color

(...) Hi Jake, I think the confusion stems from the fact that you used 'Dark Green' to describe the darker (and newer) shade of green from TLC, while recent S@H catalogs have used 'Dark Green' to describe traditional (and ordinary) green. The S@H (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: New container ship color

(...) Not sure how I confused things by that note, but I apologize. As has been mentioned a number of times, "dark green" in this vote was/is the new dark green color that fits in the same range as the new dark red and dark blue. This new green is (...)
