| Well, it took a bit longer to get the final results tallied that I expected (summer vacations and all). But I'm pleased to announce that the color chosen for the new container ship is...drum roll please.... Dark Blue That's right. They were neck and (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.announce, lugnet.lego.announce, lugnet.color, lugnet.general, FTX) !!

| I expected the new big and mini Knight Buses to be purple, but I noticed the color doesn't match any other color I have. Looking on Peeron, it is listed as Lilac. On Bricklink it is listed as Dark Purple. Is this a new color? Seems like there (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jun-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

| (...) That sorta gets tricky marketing-wise. If you have a color called "Red", then change it just slightly, forever-after calling it "Apple Red", I'd think newcomers would start to be confused. | (...) I don't think I follow your point. LDraw/Peeron are (almost) synchronized in terms of parts. They're somewhat synchronized on colors and try to be.
