Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Frank Filz
(...) Well, he did say "spent in one day", so I'd think that $600 counts. Other than the $1200 order for Mario, I'm thinking the most I've done in one day is about $600, but I'd have to dig through my receipts. (...) Hmm, most expensive set? (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Jimmy Park
I dunno about you guys, but I am truly an addict. Last week, my girlfriend pointed out that I spend $1-2K on Lego per month and I thought I had really curbed my appetite for the stuff. Back when you could find more older sets, there were days I'd (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Frank Filz
(...) You need to total up the size of your collection. You are either way over paying, or you have one of the larger collections. Frank (24 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Jimmy Park
(...) I wouldn't say I'm overspending. I generally get pretty good deals on the stuff I do get. As to total size of my collection. . . well, I haven't met physically meet anyone with a bigger collection, but I hear stories of some people. When you (...)         Re: Most ever spent on Lego —James Brown
(...) Somewhere around $1000 is the most I've dropped in one day, and that was a while back... I've slowed down a lot from 2 years ago. There was a period of about 6 months where I dropped an easy 2 grand every month, probably more. Right now, I (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Shiri Dori

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —James Brown
(...) Absolutely. It was a set she'd never had, and always wanted, and outside of the budget she allows herself. I can take or leave pirates, and given $300 to spend, would spend it on a couple old castles long before I'd buy some old boat. <grin, (...) (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Aaron West
(...) "Honey! I can't seem to find my red cannons or my center hull sections. Have you seen them anywhere???" Sharing is HARD. Aaron (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —James Brown
(...) Tell me about it. I haven't been able to build anything tan or brown for months! I'd grumble more if my wife hadn't used them to build a stunningly cool tavern/inn. :) (pictures will happen soon) James (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Most ever spent on Lego —Shiri Dori
(...) <nod nod nod nod> It is definitely great. (How many more times will we discuss this? ;-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.castle)
