(...) Hey Andrew, that sounds pretty good! Simple and sweet. I think you could prolly also use a 1x1 round *plate* for the same general effect, but to hold the shield closer to the body. -Shiri (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Another dandy piece, if you don't mind a little cutting and pasting, can be made from the 2x2 round convex tiles. Cut a little length of shaft from anything you have handy and glue it to the back between the studs. [Ducking the bricks, (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Excellent ideas with the taps; I hadn't thought of that. I think I prefer the shaft method if only because it holds the shield closer to the hand. Now I have to think about all the other "taps as handles" applications. My latest implement of (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Ive used taps as well to mend shields. They do tend to sit a bit far away from the minifig's body though. Looks fine if you use them as ornamental shields James Stacey www.minifig.co.uk "John Carroll" <johnc@digitalacropolis.com> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.castle)
