Bruce,
Brickbay shows these have sold out (8 sales with prices from $2 to $8.50).
Your bid of $5 was midway in this range. Ebay prices are usually on the
higher end.

The yellow walls appeared in two sets: 6086 - Black Knight's Castle & 6074 -
Black Falcon's Fortress. These are both older, large sets. Not 'rare', but
definitely costly.

There was also a red version of the tudor wall in 6067 - Guarded Inn. That
set is on many folks top ten list, making in both rare & costly.

Here's a good link for matching parts with sets: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts

BTW If you're thinking of customizing your own walls, the plain yellow walls
only appeared in one set too: 6276 - Eldorado Fortress. I don't think the
plain red wall was ever made.

Good luck & happy hunting,
KS

My question is, how much should Tudor Walls cost?  I recently placed a bid
which I thought was too high ($5 each) and still lost the item!  Has anyone
had similar experiences?  I am not even sure which Lego sets these walls
came in.  Was it a hard to find set?

(...) They made red corner wall sections in the 6060 set (year produced 1989). It also comes with 2 horse barding and 8 mini-figs, so not a cheap set either. Brian K> (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

Greetings, Like many Lego castle enthusiasts, I have spent several years building a castle for my knights to inhabit. I am now turning my hand to building a village for the common folks to live in. Recently I have been looking for the yellow and (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)
