In lugnet.castle, Joel Jacobsen writes: Snip (...) Yeah, I guess it's like the drawing test at the beginning of "The Little Prince." Grown-ups just don't get it. (...) Snip (...)   Re: **My very first posting of MOC pics!!!!**

(...) Thanx, I try to make a unique seige type machine for each faction so that when they unite to storm the Royal castle they compliment each other. I have a bunch of storylines imagined but no time to act them out. (...) You mean you don't think (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  'BOOT FAIR'

Here in Britain, a boot fair is where people go to sell the stuff that they dont want anymore. They are usually held in car parks or fields. I never much cared for them untill a friend of mine picked up 3 town sets for £5. Since then i started (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Future of Belville

(...) An interesting twist on the Belville format and theme, to be sure. I'm not sure I would like to see Harry Potter et. al. taking over Belville anymore than the other commentators in that thread, but I can see where the Belville scale would give (...)   Baby Horse

Is Paradisa 6404 the only set that comes with a baby horse? I just put one up for auction on ebay last night and wanted to put that in the description but I wasn't sure. I figured you fellow castle-heads would know. (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: **My very first posting of MOC pics!!!!**

(...) Ah, I think I get it now. The lower ramp ends in that picture, where the minifig is standing. Then, you continue all the way around the castle on that level, and come to the set of spiral stairs in this picture, and go up those to the main (...) Howdy Eric, ...my name is Richard Wright, and I am a teacher from Boise Idaho. I am glad you are doing this...we were very excited about it when Mr Wilson hosted it. Is there any assistence you need? I can spread the word to different groups of (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 2001 Ancient Theme Building Contest

(...) Richard, your students had more ideas and entries than the rest of us put together! It would be exciting to see a new bunch. (...) Generating enthusiasm first! I have heard from several other 1998 people already... -Erik (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Future of Belville

(...) Yes, and the built-in mystical theme, including props and designs might make it more attractive. It's no big deal to squirt dark grey plastic into a Belville mold rather than pink or purple. (...) Yes, but now that I think of it, the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.castle, lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Future of Belville

(...) While I haven't read HP yet (but my daughter has), I can speak about Belville, which I like.   Yellow and black walls

Greetings, Like many Lego castle enthusiasts, I have spent several years building a castle for my knights to inhabit. I am now turning my hand to building a village for the common folks to live in. Recently I have been looking for the yellow and (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Yellow Tudor walls

Bruce, Brickbay shows these have sold out (8 sales with prices from $2 to $8.50). Your bid of $5 was midway in this range. Ebay prices are usually on the higher end. The yellow walls appeared in two sets: 6086 - Black Knight's Castle & 6074 - Black (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Yellow Tudor walls

(...) $5 per is the price I pay for them, and I've managed to get a small horde of them, so I'd agree that is a decent, but perhaps low price. (...) It may make people sick, but I got 3 sets of red 6067 walls for I think under $5 per piece. It's (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: **My very first posting of MOC pics!!!!**

(...) Hehe. Or something. :) (...) Ouch. Sounds effective...! (snipped) (...) I'm sorry! I'm sorry! It's just something about the 'head' and 'neck' of it. I LIKE it, and I can tell it's SUPPOSED to be a Falcon-esqe shape, but... well.. *hides in (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Yellow Tudor walls

(...) They made red corner wall sections in the 6060 set (year produced 1989). It also comes with 2 horse barding and 8 mini-figs, so not a cheap set either. Brian K> (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

Bill, Bill, *Bill*! Me-aipho le-hatkhil?! It's great to see these MOCs I've heard about! I can tell you put a lot of effort in there (even disregarding the fact that I heard they were in process of building several weeks ago! ;-). Those first two (...)
