Re: New sets for 2001... finally (Pictures)

(...) I second the Lizard-man suggestion. Even through they have a Battle Droid-like body, I'm sure something can be worked out. I can't wait as I've been contemplaing how to make a good lizard-head. I also agree with the thought that the latest (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  The coutdown begins... teaser pictures

Greetings my friends, The countdown to the update to my site has begun. I've finally been able to go home to my legos and take pictures. It'll take me a week or so to edit and clean up the pictures, and to update my site, so I figured I'd share a (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  roman castle series.

Wouldn't it be neat if lego came out with a series based on ancient roman civilization? I wouldn't want it to replace normal castle but TLG would probably replace it anyway just to tick us off. But they could make some roman baths and a whole bunch (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: roman castle series.

Well why not start building? If you need inspiration, and you don't have any picture books, get thee to Barnes & Noble and check out: The Ancient City by Peter Connolly with Hazel Dodge It is a softcover book of cut-away illustrations of everything (...) Fantastic weapons. Great use of pieces. Did you have to shave the end of the trans-light blue spear to get it to seat properly? The character designs and color schemes are also terrific. Loce those new chrome pieces! I can't wait to get mine. Dave (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Maiden's cart - Castle set 6023

(...) I'd say $57 still aint that bad for one on ebay. These can easily go up over the $200 mark if you have a few people that really want it. The instructions and the white hat of the maiden are both REALLY rare. I've seen the hat alone for $20 on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Maiden's cart - Castle set 6023

(...) Thanks. I wasn't actually looking to buy it, I was intrigued as I have this set and although thought it was OK I didn't realise its significance in the Castle world! I'm still surprised at its value though. (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: roman castle series.

Actually, I believe the new castle chrome series (when put together) makes a really great roman soldier. I'm sure many of you have done this....... Use the legs, torso, and silver armor of the knight from set 4817 (legs with the brown cloth (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Three words: white maiden's cap

I'd be willing to shell out $20 or more just for this piece. It's old, rare, and not likely to appear again in that color anytime soon. Dave David Jolley <Trapnet2@aol.com> wrote in message news:G2xCEo.GKr@lugnet.com... (...) this (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  MOC weapons

Hi everyone, I thought I'd ask the castle and space crowd: If I were to get a small number of MOC figure acessories designed and injection molded, what would be good ideas for the accessories/weapons/tools? These would be compatible with minifig (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle)

(...) Thanks, though I'm out of ideas, I'm sure I'll come up with a few more. (...) Yes sir, took a nail file to it. I didn't take all that much off, in fact you can barely notice when the spear is by itself. (...) Mostly I'm proud of my ancient (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Hmm...

Somebody recentl (I think) posted a picture with a rather unique way of using palm fronds to create a tree. I remember seeing it, and thinking, "I like that! I must come back and look at it again in the future!", however I neglected to bookmark it. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Whoo you bet. The white "Ku Klux Klan" hat in this set is one of the most valuable pieces (along with pitchforks and "food" sign from 6067). (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)
