Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) Do the math - but then again, I suppose they did things young in the middle ages. 30 and a gray beard? More like 50 or over. Leonora has that 40+ year old look to me. This leaves the Princess room to be at least a little older than Shiri. :-) (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) Leo must be young. How else could he climb up the walls to get to highers floors. They are no stairs in the NEW lego world (there used to be!)! (...) The only problem with wezil is he looks too happy compared with the others. Princess storm (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) There is a pretty long history of LEGO constructions not having stairs or ladders between all the floors. LEGO minifigs are very religious, and often rely on the Hand of God to move them between floors (either that or they are all quite (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) He is one of the Leo Knights w/ the black mustache, beard, and a smirk similiar to Johnny Thunder's. He looks young to me. (...) And that's why I don't like King Leo as much as the Royal Knights King. (...) She is Storm's mom, but you were (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Blue peasant basket

(...) Check out Paradisa too, 6417 Jumping Course at least. They were a S@H special for $2 last spring IIRC. John (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Castle sets are in what Era

What era do you think most of the castle sets are built to represent? BK> (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) OK, based solely on my perceptions and because I think this is a fun thread: (...) I think she is around 18-22. She is coming into her own and reaching full adulthood. (...) 35-40 This is the King's right hand man. He is a mentor to John of (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Castle sets are in what Era

(...) The castles themselves or all the sets? They seem to borrow from the entire range of the middle ages. The early castles have a 1100-1300 look to them. Plate armor and visored helms means we are straying into the 1300-1500 period. Nasals on (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  More Dragons

I’d like to make a suggestion for TLC. Referencing a role playing game created by TSR (Dungeon & Dragons). There are many different varieties of dragons. I suggest creating more dragons in different colors. Colors such as white, blue & red even (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: More Dragons

And make 'em BIGGER! C'mon, who's afraid of a dragon that's barely larger than a horse? I propose a set that comes with a few dragon-specific SPUDs, and the rest is built from bricks and maybe a couple of hinges for poseability... you could even (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: More Dragons

Personally I could care less about about the dragons, prefab or otherwise. And I'm a castle fan. BEN GATRELLE (PS Anyone want to buy some dragons...) (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) I'd agree about adding a few years, perhaps 34-35? (...) Well basing the ages of LEGO minifig characters from anime probably is not the most logical (at least to me, and mecha combat shows! yea!!! :^) But since TLC doesn't supply us with (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Mystery of the Printed Stones

(...) Highly unlikely. If you actually look at the date on the magazine, it's 1993... The 1st castle corner pieces came out in 1986 with Black Falcon's Fortress (6074) (also premiered in the Guarded Inn (6067) that year, but not in grey), which (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: More Dragons

If I remember correctly, it wasn't too long ago that somebody posted alternate dragon pics... they had sprayed a dragon white and made it an ice dragon, I think maybe there was a red dragon too. Anybody have the URL? (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) Us folk up in that range ourselves have a better feel for that. Saying he is only 50 is giving him the benefit of that doubt as it is. (...) No quick picture of Leonora available, so I can't picture it in my mind, alas. I'd agree with those (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)
