  Re: King Leo on Throne?

(...) You can call but you won't be able to order it. It was an exclusive set only sond inside the LEGO Media Chess software package. You are not the first person to find this repackaged. Very curious. BEN GATRELLE (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: King Leo on Throne?

(...) Yeah, that's the one! Looks like I didn't search deep enough in the database. That is a nifty little set. I think I'll call S@H. Thanks for the help! (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: King Leo on Throne?

(...) Actually, he's better than King Leo. The king figure has the torso of the brown moustache knight (which I think is better); and the throne itself has 6 of those rounded red elements with a side plate notched one plate down from the top, 2 (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: King Leo on Throne?

(...) Interesting...perhaps it was just a rogue from an opened box? Has this set ever been sold by itself? I ask this because from all appearances the box seemed to be standard with all the usual markings. (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: King Leo on Throne?

(...) Sounds suspiciously like the Chess King: (URL) this isn't QUITE King Lego since he doesn't have the same head, but this could easily be the set you're talking about... DaveE (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: King Leo on Throne?

The set in question is not new. It is/was a small promotional set included with the lego chess computer game. (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  King Leo on Throne?

About 2 weeks ago in the local K-mart I came across a new set that I found very curious - it was a small set in the $2 price range - of King Leo with a scepter and a small red throne. The set is obviously a new release, but I just assumed that it is (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: building castles

(...) Indeed - looking at his site and the creations he's done has left me with a severe case of...sigh.. Castle Envy. There.. I said it. I'm so ashamed. :) I understand the discouragement bit, having looked at the wellspring of talent in .castle (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wizard's staff idea

(...) Two ideas-use a old fashioned gun(Pirate or Samurai) held by the area just under the trigger-with the barrel facing down or a lightsabre handle with harpoons on either end Ravi (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Black Falcons

I got in on this thread a little late but I have a sizeable force made up almost entirely of Black Falcons and Forestmen. I have around 65 BF's and close to 30 Forestmen. These forces represent my elf army with the BF being the regulars and the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  My FOTD

The day before yesterday, my wife and I were on our way home from visiting some friends. We were quite a distance from home, and I convinced her to stop at a K-Mart that was on the way, so that I could look for Lego. Not too much was exciting there, (...)   Re: Wizard's staff idea

  Re: Wizard's staff idea

(...) I like it. It looks perfect. Of course I have to see if I still have The yoda staff. Anyone have any Ideas for an Battle Mage's Staff? Would be taller and less gnarly. I've been trying to come up something for a while. lately I've bee trying (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Wizard's staff idea

I came up with a nifty idea for a staff or cane for a wizard, shepherd, hermit, whoever needs one. It's the cane from an original (1980) Yoda action figure. Fits just about perfectly into a minifig hand in a couple different positions. Picture below (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Goat Herd

(...) Actually, I have several dozen of these... Unfortunately, most of them are *black*... :-P (Black sheep are supposed to be the rarity, IIRC. Hence the term "black sheep", as in "the black sheep of the family"...) (...) Thank you. ;-) That's (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Goat Herd

(...) Thanks! (...) Yeah, I tried to make a herd of sheep for some farmers I put together, but didn't have the right pieces to make more than two. Of course Franklin's sheep are great because they're just the right size for mini-figs. I have to just (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Goat Herd

(...) Thank you! (...) Yep, I'll probably write a little bio for the goat-herder and submit her as a character as well. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)
