Re: Ninja vs. "real" Castle (was: Re: More news on 2000 lineup!)

(...) <sigh> Oh how I wish. At least we can make a decent barbarian horde. (Polybag, polybag, come on polybag.) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: Ninja vs. "real" Castle (was: Re: More news on 2000 lineup!)

This part of the art of Lego. Adding to a theme to increase the size of the army. I took the newest and last armada soliders (green and red) and added them to the Woodsmen and old Lion Armies. They became officers or minor nobles whatever you wish (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bullboys, Moomen, or Longhorns?

[Moving to .admin.general] (...) Not all children watch that drivel. Many parents don't allow this kind of language in their homes, so let's respect that. Todd doesn't want this type of language here, anyway. Jeff (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New Castle? Huzzah!

(...) Has the 6090 baseplate been used anywhere else? One of these days I'd like to put together a reference of baseplates. (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 1680

1680 - forestmens haycart (made up name). 63? pieces I have the instructions here, gimme 5 minutes and they should be up at; www.geocities.com/pa.../temp.html (Duckie) Dave Till David Eaton wrote in message ... (...) It (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Tapestry in 6091?

I only have a couple minutes, but I noticed something very odd on pages 16 and 17 of the new catalog. Looking on p.16, I saw what looked like a large Royal Knights symbol thru the gate of 6091. I passed it of as background until I saw the blue (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 1680

Righto, done. BTW if KL, Todd or anyone else is reading this and has a better home for anything in my temp section, feel free to take the stuff. Just drop me a note so that I know what space I can then free up. (Duckie) Dave Till Duckie Dave wrote (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle? Huzzah!

(...) Not to my knowledge... Pity, as CRAPPs go, it's not too bad, IMHO. The 'river gorge' baseplate has been used in two sets so far (three counting the 2000 Castle): Amazon Ancient Ruins (green, jungle printing, river through the middle), and Rock (...)   Re 1680

No, I did'nt type in the wrong number David Easton! I've made up the set. I think Dave Till has just verified this. Thanks (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

A few more castle pics up.

Just want to let y'all know I got a few more pics of my castle up... I've been working on it for more almost three years now and it's finally almost complete, well at least the inner baily that is! Below is the URL for my site - thanks! Dan (URL) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A few more castle pics up.

Your castle is amazing! How many bricks did it take to build that? I personally think your castle is right beside Ed Boxer's. (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Idea

(...) How about a world based on Robert Jordan's the Wheel of Time? You already have the Dragon banners from the Dragon Masters for Rand Al Thor and the followers of the Dragon Reborn, the Royal Knights and older lion-clad figures would work perfect (...)   Re: A few more castle pics up.

(...) I'm working on year three and counting! I don't make a lot of money at my job so progress is slow. Most of the castle has interiors, including the corner towers and main gates, so there's a lot more pieces involved than if I just built a (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Silver bricks

As far as I know the reflective silver bricks come in one configuration 2x4. They were (past tense) available in a tub and a bucket set. One silver brick per. They are hard to come by. (I think the Duplo tub had a Duplo 2x4 in silver as well) They (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Whoah! My cat just caused me to post a blank message twice! In any case, sorry for being such a dork - I found Ed's site on the links page. I remember his castle being featured in the Lego club 'zine and it's way cool to see more of it! Dan (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)
