  Re: Treasure chest question

(...) Hmmm... I think I noticed another difference, betwen the pegs in different chests... the one trans. pink chest I have has smaller pegs than the others, I believe; I discovered this when I tried to mix&match the lids, but they didn't stay on (...)   Re: HEHE!!!

(...) I emailed him last night to find out if he sells prints of that. I'll let you all know what I find out! :) Jeff (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Treasure chest question

(...) I can't say I've ever noticed a difference in the chests other than the obvious brown/black difference. Brown chests came/come in pirate and castle sets. I think they were introduced for the castle system. The black chests I have came from (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

So, you're looking for grey bricks?! Weell... what are you waiting for?! Go here right now (I guess you missed this) (URL) go to lego.com and look at the selection. THEN tell me you're missing grey bricks. ;-) HTH, -Shiri (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) Er, every few months. -JDF (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) Perhaps some. I suspect it would come in handy to be able to outfit a largely homogenous army. One thing I noted while building my most recent incarnation of the never- complete castle is that while I have relatively few grey bricks, I've got (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Models for Display at Kidvention

Hey everybody... I am looking for a few models to display at the Kidvention with the LDraw setup. They need to have a virtual representation in .dat format so we can print up a poster of a rendering of the model. I'm looking for stuff from a lot of (...)   Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) I think that they probably would. I had some Lego knockoff bricks (Tyco I think) and those actually came with similar things to colorforms to stick on the bricks. Tim (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

No! you're not the only one! I was really hoping to see Grey Plates and dark grey bricks too :( why give us plate colors we can already get???? I understand it's going to take some time to grow... though please, MORE!!! I'm hoping we get classic (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: HEHE!!!

(...) Actually, I hadn't seen it yet. It's hilarious! Rich -- Have Fun! C-Ya! Legoman34 ***** Legoman34 (Richard W. Schamus)... (No, I don't work for TLC, but I want to...) BRICKFEST 2001 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER... START MAKING PLANS TODAY. Card (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  HEHE!!!

Maybe you've all seen this before, but it's still cool. (URL) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle) !

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) No, you're not the only one. I'm sure many castle fans want these - to some extent. But personally, I'd rather get bricks first, and accessories later... -Shiri (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

Am I the only one that wante Castle Body Armor, Black swords, hores barding, and other mini fig accessories? (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) That's my problem though. They do ship a lot in sets, but they are also some of the easiest pieces to lose, so if you buy incomplete sets (which I do a lot at grage sales and things) it's those pieces that are typically missing and I need them (...)   Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) Hm. Those I have oodles of-- seems every castle Lego ever shipped has a million of those parts they use as crenelations at the tops of walls. They don't work so good for building with. :) -JDF (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) If anyone finds out whether or not Color Forms stick to Lego, let me know. My mother works for a company that makes the color form material and then sells it to the companies that print on it. Therefore I should be able to get some loose (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) Glad to see I'm not alone. :-) I just remembered someone commenting about me disliking the walls, so I figured I'm in a minority about this. I agree with Richard, though- patterned walls would be nice to see. Or, if that would work, stickers (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) I bought some stuff like this at Sam's Club.. it was for making static window clings, it's not the same stuff :( you can run them through a printer so you could put anything you want on them. though I wasn't able to get it to stick to glass (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Bulk castle parts?

(...) Yeah, I know what you mean there. The 'rock pattern' walls are pretty nice. I wonder...a lot of people don't like stickers because they're so permanent, but does anybody remember Colorforms? They were a sort of thick plastic 'sticker' that you (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Anyone up for a little Castle Wave 2 speculation?

(...) LOL!! I'd love some nice-lookin' sheeps, but I must admit I'd probably prefer Franklin Cain's design of them over any pre-fab sheep that TLC might produce. I've already made some of these, but not many, for lack of 1x1 bricks w/4 side studs... (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)
