I can't wait to get a hold of these!

My thoughts exactly = )
I like the torso details on the Samurai and Ninjas, looks like a couple new
designs. At least 2 different graphics on the green ninja...

I am excited by this black armor also...Too bad no 3rd generation Ninja
series sets...It will be expensive acquiring this black armor piece in
bulk...maybe Lego Direct?
Anybody notice a disturbing trend with these new minifig packs?...you know,
half as many minifigs as in past years?
I hope the standard retail fig packs don't emulate these collector editions
in the future...The drop from 6 figs to 5 was disturbing enough...I would be
very unhappy if the miifig packs lose another fig or 2 ...
Although the 2nd generation of Ninja sets was pricey and sparse on many
parts, I loved the figures and the designs were easily reworked. A 3rd
generation of sets might have been substantially less thought out and
expensive in the cents per piece department...at least I can keep buing
Ninja theme figs in some form/color or another...
Ultimately I will be happy if these new Ninja minifigs are around for a
couple years, so I can add to my army...

I'm with sun on this one...I, for one, would be especially interested = )
John
(who has begun work on The House Of Dragons-Ninja Training School...while
taking a break from the Shogun Megafortress project)
P.S. Nice to meet you sun! There are days when I think that KK Quah and
myself are the only Ninja fans here = )

| (...) I'll second that. There is obviously some attempt to create a collector "type" of lego as it goes out the door -- those big SW sets, and now these figures that cross theme lines. Someone here once suggested a marketing strategy like Beanie (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)
