Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

<snip> (...) Something like this? (URL) is the Mother Crystal with the "crystal keeper". Wilson (URL) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Hey, nice way to use up some of those 1x1 dots! -Chris (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Just a throne

Nothing major, just a throne (thrones?) for Marck and Cleo... In the pictures you can also see that Marck has a different face... I changed that a few months ago, so it's about time I showed it. What you see will (tentatively) be built into the wall (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !

  Re: Just a throne

Haven't you got a history project you're supposed to be working on? *smile* -Cheese (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Yes, MOM. <sigh> And FTR, I *am* working on it! -Shiri (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Crossbow-gunners! Makes a lot of sense, running around and shooting enemies. That would make a great addition to the cannon you already have on deck! What about making ballistas that fire the aquazone harpoons? I've seen them used as missiles (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

Alright, let's take it outside... To off-topic.fun! ;) (...) Heck, it couldn't hold a torch to Final Fantasy *I*! :) (...) but still, the worst of the lot, IMO. (I've played 'em all, btw. (1)) (...) The giant disproportionate swords wielded by Cloud (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Realm portals

I have a question for everyone interested in Castle World. I've been reading recently about RDP's (Revolving Door Portals) and was wondering if that was decided to be the "official" portal, or if we could make our own portals and have them be (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Realm portals

(...) Oh, certainly! Anything goes. Craig first suggested the RDPs as a solution for the apparent distance problem - that the realms would be supposedly far apart and the m-fs would not be able to "physically" travel these large distances. The name (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) I think you missed out on a good opportunity: give the crystal keeper a trans- green lightsaber blade for a "crystal staff". (You could even stick a lighsaber handle and a gem or Rock Raiders crystal on the top of it.) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I was talking about... :) I hadn't thought of putting the domes horizontally like that. I went home last night and toyed with them a bit. You can get two of them to "sandwich" vertically by using a couple of 1x2 (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Just a throne

Heh, reminds me of the Temple at Abu Simbel. (...) changed (...) so (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) big (...) Actually I didn't really miss out, I can still go back and change it. That sounds like an awesome idea though! (I just gotta get my hands on a couple of Rock Raider crystals.) Then when people try to take the crystal from its alter, (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Just a throne

(...) Wow. I just spent a good 45 seconds trying to work out what MOM stood for. Too many TLAs. eric (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) big (...) I was playing around with the blade and the gem, and this is what I came up with: (URL) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

Hey, that looks great. Took me a second to figure out that you used the minifig's hand to hold the gem there. :^) You could invert a 1x1 cone and use it to connect the gem to the rod. ~Mark (...) came up (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 4 new pics of Suz's stuff in NELUG display at TCS.

  Re: Just a throne

(...) You're doing a project on historical thrones? Steve (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Just a throne

(...) No... I was just taking a break from my project to post something that I'd already finished. The project had nothing to do with thrones... sadly :-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Newly-Designed Dragon Arms

As many of you know, the dragon's arms don't offer much flexibility. Well, I set out to fix that problem. Playing around with some miscellaneous pieces, I have designed arms that are far more useful than the originals. They can move up and down, (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !
