Please let me know what you think.

Great stuff!

Quest's and comm's...:

I admire your innovative use of pieces. Ninja doors for roofs,
swinging "portcullis" doors, and spears for jail cells... very unconventional,
which makes it special and cool!
Any chance we can see one picture of the full castle? I can make out how it
looks from the landscape pics (looks good!) but I'd love to see one picture of
the whole layout, to get an idea of where everything is in relation to other
things (e.g. where is the keep in relation to the entrance).
Is the castle sitting atop a non-lego base? I couldn't determine for sure. If
so, why? (because it's more stable, or...?)
The landscape is a very good idea. I have some comments about that. I love the
waterfall, and the pillar on which the castle lays is very nice. But (no
offence!) the big base looks a bit weird because it sticks out farther than
the pillar does. I think it would be really nice if the pillar would have a
negative (inverse) sloping, instead of positive.(1) That way, the base would
look like it's sitting on a cliff. Also, if the base is non-lego, can you make
it smaller? I think it would look better.

The lookout post is really great, as are the small and very realistic details
of the waterfall! I love the way the stones make little waves... I've been to
a lot of streams and rivers, and that's exactly what it looks like in quick-
flowing, rocky ones!
I like the towers' design, especially the way they allow easy access yet are
still very stable.

All in all, great job! I like it a lot, and I'm expecting Vincent's hideout!

There's two of these posts because in the
first one, I spelled Completed wrong in the title.  So please reply to this
one.  Just a little bit of obsessive compulsive feeling.

Nothing personal, but that can be somewhat annoying :-)
No one minds an occational typo, but if you still want to note it - it's
better to reply to the original post instead of starting a new thread.

(1) negative = narrow base, sloping outwards to a wide top
positive = wide base, sloping inwards to a narrow top

(...) The top base is just a piece of plywood painted green. That won't be the final base, but I used it just so I could get some pictures posted. It will eventually be smaller when I'm finished. (...) Thanks! I will try to get it built as soon as (...) (25 years ago, 5-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

I would just like to announce that my Royal Castle has been finished and I have set it up in it's surrounding countryside. The links that have been updated are Royal Castle and the new one, Landscape. You can find the new pictures here: (URL) let me (...) (25 years ago, 5-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !
