Perhaps a wall of ancient dusty tomes inscribed with strange runes.  Or
perhaps a statue of a bizarre creature.  Or maybe a big fish tank!

And so I'm building this castle (c.f. some other thread here). And I have
some neat ideas come to me, and it pretty much gets determined that the
castle isn't owned by some lord or duke or knight-commander or whatnot,
but instead by a wizard.

No problem. I read plenty of fantasy, play swords-and-sorcery games. I
know what wizards keep in their laboratories, what they do in their
sanctum... heck, I know what's supposed to be found in the top of the
tower that scares you out onto the precipitous catwalk... everything.

Or so I thought. So I get the first level of the center keep/wizard's
tower built, and I figure I can either go on to the second level, which
I suspect I lack sufficient bricks to do (geez. ~50,000 bricks, and I
run out already?! [0] ), or I can furnish the interior. It's the ground
floor, so it should probably be a foyer and a place for recieving guests.

Well, if this castle were owned by a lord or a duke or a knight-commander,
that room would probably be lined with suits of armor bearing halberds and
have a big table in the center for feasting or planning at.

But that just doesn't sound right for a wizard. But it also seems • dangerous
to line the room with the tools of a wizard's trade, too. I should save
that for the laboratory...

So what _does_ a wizard have in his living room?

[0] This can only mean one thing: I need more bricks. [1]

[1] And why won't Lego put grey bricks in their buckets/tubs?
