Yet more pics of the ever growing city

Well, my most recent collection of new pics is available at: (URL) it out! There's now 9 houses, a grey stone building with red trim, 3 little market tents, and part of a city wall! It's really hard to tell, but there's a portcullis about 6 studs in (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

David, I love the overall effect and the way you are bringing it all together. I like the individual strutures and the fact that you have defined their reason for being. I look forward to watching your walled city grow. Brian (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Yet more pics of the ever growing city

Impressive, Dave! And to think, all that started with one house and a chicken... :-) IMO, your village looks great, better every time you add more stuff, and I'm sure you'll have a great big town/city soon! The steering wheel was Pawel's idea (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) The wall is obviously being erected to keep out Catzilla from the previous set of pictures, but what precautions are being taken against falling baby grand pianos?! Once again, a marvellous job. Bill (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) OK then, new rule then... "Master specialist magic-users have beards or lipstick or a maniacal grin with only one tooth. Apprentice specialist magic-users have plain smiley faces, no makeup or stubble." I'd hate to see what you guys think of (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A great castle story page

(...) 'Shiri' loosely translates to 'little song,' right? Isn't Shira a more Israeli name? Tony (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A great castle story page

(...) Israeli (...) Sorry, I meant to type "Isn't Shira (as opposed to Shiri) a more _common_ Isaeli name?" This wasn't any sort of jab about your name not being Israeli enough. Tony (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

OK, now that I have more time... Your ideas about magic use are very interesting. (...) LOL! Shiri doesn't mean little song but 'my song', or alternatively 'sing' (imperative form). Shira is more common, and yet Shiri is still common enough.
