(Hey, Pawel, thanks for clearing that stuff up.  I didn't *think* I was way off
base but it's kind of nice to know for sure.)

Now I'm going to ramble on with a few more suggestions to see what, if
anything,
sounds good.

First off, CW posts...there might be some weird folks that don't want to see
the CW discussion or related stuff, so I think we ought to put [CW] in the
subject line.  (I think most of us are doing this already but I wanted to
mention it anyway.)

Second is something I want to call 'Feudalism in Castle World'.  Basically,
it's the idea that people (with all proper permissions) ought to be able to
place Structures and Characters in each other's Realms.  An example would be
if Jeff Stembel decided he really liked the stuff I was doing with the Dragon
Clan, and wanted to do a Dragon Clan fortress in my mountains, overseen by a
baron who owes fealty to the current King.  Another one would be the Red Fox's
home (coming soon) and for that matter the Wolf's tower (coming not soon).
Both of these guys are wizards (I promise, I'll eventually do something other
than wizards!) and I really don't want to create an entire Kingdom around each
of them because right now, for the stuff I have planned for them, the kingdom
isn't really that important.  So the best thing for me would be to let someone
else do the work of making the kingdom, and then have my Structures in there.

Anyway, the point is that this sort of thing would increase interaction and
hopefully cooperation between CW members.

There are a couple of ways we could do this.  One would be the actual feudal
method - someone could 'give' a portion of their realm (probably expressed in
baseplates) to someone else.  Another would be for the two people involved to
just hash out the details and then send mails to P&C saying 'put this structure
in Person A's lands' and 'it's OK to put Person B's structure in my lands'.
Actually, they both amount to the same way, it's just the first is more formal
and probably involved more work on P&Cs part.

I think I had a third but my fiancee is taking me out to breakfast so it'll
have to wait.

thank you! this feudal system  will certainly have to happen! ...and as
easily as you describe!  this will also enable fellow balladeers to
contribute to growing empires and large kingdoms such as the one j. stembel
is planning. so far, his is the only one i'm aware of, but CW simply
wouldn't be complete with them!

also placing (CW) in post headers to relevent posts is not only a good
suggestion, but should be a "rule of thumb" out of respect for todd &
lugnet.  (this is of course,  until he gives us lugnet.castle.world!
...perhaps after he map is online, and we've begun "moving in", he will!)

believe you me, this can't happen soon enough for me, either! thank you
for your continued patience and invaluable contributions, all. the sooner i
get this preliminary work done, and the sooner i can become a fellow
balladeer (nothing more), the HAPPIER i will be.
  later ~ craig~
