(...) Me too - I was inspired previously from your curved wall design, as were many, many others, and now I'm even more impressed - I didn't even have enough pieces to manage a quarter circle of four studs high ;-) <snip> I hope you have a chance to (...)   Re: Picture Editing ...

(...) I like the effect of the "glow" on fury's wings, as the forest instead of table. OTOH, I don't think you should've edited the baseplate out - after all, it is Lego. The second picture is good, but a bit too blurry. That's OK though, the red (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) figured (...) Truly awesome and inspiring work! Don't go too heavy on computer effects though, I think the charm of Lego is it's simplicity - it makes you use your imagination! Hey, has anyone thought of taking duplicate heads and painting (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Picture Editing ...

(...) I agree! Lego is just about all we need ;-) of course, *some* modification never hurt anyone... (...) That's a great idea! I was thinking of doing that to Scar but $99 for another storm face is too much ;-) I might just use normal faces or (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Eric, Godzilla sized kudos!! I like how you combined the different colored BURPS and all the different colored buildings - much better than all grey and black. How 'bout a close up of the circular design over the doorway of the grey building (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Yeah, the "prob" is that I don't have a scanner or digital camera! How prehistoric!!! I feel like Fred Flintstone! Thanks for the offer, if I can get some good photos maybe I'll take you up on that, toda giveret. (...) So, what's up, you do (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Picture Editing ...

(...) Why actually paint on the LEGO? Open up your scanned/digital pics in a paint program and have at them! This has numerous advantages, not the least of which is the fact that if you screw up, you can always change it back with Undo or Revert to (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Some more testing along the lines suggested: (URL) might have potential in the future, no? (of course the arrow has to go, but other than that I'm pleased). I do see the use of such techinques though (winking, eyes closed, etc... ) -- pn (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Wow. Castle was good!

I only had classic space (pre-Blacktron) and freestyle when I was a kid, so I never really knew what the castle series used to be like. I've come out of my dark ages tuned into castle in a big way (1). I've been collecting a lot of clearance Ninja, (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle World Map

I am playing with the idea of trying to make a map using POVRay which would allow not only a top view of the map, but a rendered 3D view of the map with trees and mountains, etc. Does anyone think this is a good idea, or is it too much work. Timbo (25 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)
