Re: Sci Fi Novels --> movies —Dave Schuler
(...) Ah, the old "didn't get" it trump card. And the monofilament whip was nifty... (...) (21 years ago, 5-Mar-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Sci Fi Novels --> movies —Mark Sandlin
(...) Well, what about you? I'm not trying to say it's a great movie that was just misunderstood by the general public. It's a hokey corny movie that was misunderstood.          Re: Sci Fi Novels --> movies —Paul Baulch
(...) "I'll torture you so slowly you'll think it's a career." Man, if they'd ditched Bruce and Andie for a pair of well-cast comedy actors, they would have had a kick-arse movie going there. At least they had the good sense to put Richard E. Grant (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Sci Fi Novels --> movies —Paul Baulch
(...) Actually, the monofilament whip was a HUGE letdown for me - in fact, given that everyone else I knew had already seen the movie and told me not to see it because it was crap, I went in with very low expectations for the movie as whole, and on (...)
