I have seen several castle toys that are basicly a bunch of different
"modules" (like wall pieces, towers, turrets, gates etc) plus some people
to put on those modules and then an attacking army (with siege engines etc)
to attack it.
You can arrange the modules in any way you like to produce different castles.

Why not do that for LEGO castle.
Basicly, you could have each module (a tower, a turret, a gate, a wall, a
catapult, a siege tower, whatever) as a seperate set.
So you could have small module sets and larger sets with multiple modules
(say a "complete" castle in one set). Each set would include figs, weapons etc.
Also, other figs and weapons would be available in minifig packs of various
kinds (e.g. "buy this pack and get a complete knight on horseback with all
the trimmings" or "buy this pack and get 4 archers" or whatever)

Any castleheads want to comment on this?
