A storm is a brewin', and it's headed this way!
With Tropical Storm, soon to possibly be Hurricane, Claudette headed my way, I
just wanted to let y'all know I may be out of the loop after a while.
They say it's going to turn west, and I know I'm no meteorologist, but I've been
through a few Hurricanes, and I don't see what's gonna make her go off course
like that. I figure she's going to slam right into Houston. Fortunately I'm 23
feet above sea level and am near a protected harbor, so hopefully I'll be fine
where I am.
But even though I probably won't have to worry about flooding, I still could
lose power. So like I said, I may be out of the loop after a while. It's
happened before, it'll happen again, it's just a matter of where and when.
So if you don't hear from me, no worries. No little trickle of rain is going to
wash out Ikros!
