Jeff apparently doesn't know (or doesn't care, but I suspect the former) about
conventions here, but the original post, in my view, was appropriate for
somewhere in the market.* hierarchy **only**... perhaps market.buy-sell-trade?
Could everyone at least PLEASE set their FUT appropriately??? That would cut
down on the amount of cross traffic in inappropriate groups. I mean, does
lugnet.build.ancient really need to host discussion on whether a commercial site
is well designed or not, or whether the site author is catering to a large
enough swath of his customer base, or why Froggy got the nickname Mr. Sunshine.
Lugnet caters to the compartmentalized geek. That's just the way it is here, and
when in Rome, one should strongly consider doing as the Romans do. That's my
view, anyway. Just an opinion. Yours may vary, gentle reader, but if it does,
ask yourself why.
