    As I mentioned I wanted to do in my other post, I've changed to a braided sling pocket and it made a big difference, both in ease of setup and distance. It now throws about 6 feet. Time to see what sling length and end hook gives the best (...) (22 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.castle)

     (...) Well, I couldn't bring myself to cut a LEGO net down to size (nor tie knots in LEGO string) so I did the next best thing which seemed to be to make my own net.     I've now also modified my trebuchet to use two weighted bricks in the counter-weight. Here it is cocked, loaded, and ready to fire: (URL) It now throws in the 12-14 foot range, which is a respectable 175-200 yards in mini-fig scale. Brian (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-03, to lugnet.castle)
