  Shoulder Pads

For whatever reason the inspiration hit me last night that the UFO aliens' shoulder pads would make a great barbarian horde leader-type guy... and the new Bulls' leader's head would go along great with that scheme... however since the back of the (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Shoulder Pads

(...) hey, dave~ the spanish armada helmets and visored helmets fit well with the shoulder pads. the result is a bit fantastical, though, suggesting advanced metalurgy skills that barbarians may not have. a fright knights batlord helmet also works (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle Minifig Races

What would be extremely cool for an Ice Knight soldier would be a white mini- fig with blue arms and hips, silver breastplate, clear shield, lt. trans blue spear, ninja head, and a white ninja swath thing that goes on the head. But the sad thing is (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Shoulder Pads

I've used them w/o a helmet. I used an all white minifig and put on the aliens shoulder pads and the used old Islanders hair (the black one that pulls kinda into a knot at the top of the head). I can't quite figure out what to use in the top clip (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Erik Brok used this piece to make an 'Ice Princess' with the female ponytail hair, which you can see on the 'Ice Castle' page under 'Buildings' in the 'Models' section of his site: (URL) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Monks

I know there was a discussion, or at least I mentioned, before that I thought the new brwon star wars hoods would make good monks. Last night I decided to try it. I used the young obi wan figure from the Gungan Sub set and put a brown torso on it. (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Monks

(...) I have done the same thing with the Qui-Gon torso and brown legs. I used a regular smiley head, which often looks best. I am working on a "Holy Bible" tile sticker now... Actually, I have a whole thing planned around this monk idea, which (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I'm using the black Sith hood for a nun's habit. Put it with a Dark Forest character-of-ambiguous-gender head, a Darth Maul torso, a Willa the Witch dress piece, and a brown cape. Voila! Instant sister! Rick Kurtzuba (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Dave, Great picture ... when I first saw it it seemed that I was looking through the eyes of a spy that has just been spotted and is in for some serious trauma. I guess the sheer size of it did it. I need to keep that in mind whenever I take (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Shoulder Pads

I liked the look of the UFO shoulder pads for armor, but I, too had had trouble with fit issues. *twirls ends of handlebar moustache* Now I shall RULE THE WORLD! I find that the grey Ninja armor looks cool for either a) leather or padded cloth armor (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Shoulder Pads

(...) What? You all push your leaders' heads all the down? But then how can they stand tall amongst their followers? ;) Cool idea with the shoulder pads. :) Steve (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Useless parts?

I have been wondering if anyone has found a use for all the useless parts that seem to be included in sets to jack up the price and the parts count. Some that I plan to feed to my dog include: skeleton (maybe I can use his head) witches legs (she's (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)
