Hey all,

I made one over the weekend and it's come out really nice.  All grey, dark
gray, and black with some 1x1 trans round plates to make it look jeweled.
It's almost four feet long.  Right now I call it "The Black Leech."
Hopefully, my digital camera will decide to work tomorrow and I'll be able
to post some pics on my website.

I also want to post some pics of my first Castle MOC, which is almost
finished.  Built across three baseplates (two from #6090 and one in the
middle from #5986) it has as much detail as I can cram into it, such as an
underground river system with a small pier.  There's a four-story tower gate
with a custom portcullis and arrow slots for archers on both sides of the
entry ramp.  There's a stash of supplies under the second ramp past the
checkpost which leads to a training/combat arena which is removeable to see
one of the underground rivers.  There's a garden that's also removeable to
see the small pier below in the middle channel.  Around the garden are four
storage bins with coal, grain, cotton, and apples (gotta have the
essentials!).  In the back is a quite large dining hall which has four
additional two-tiered guard towers with a removeable wizard's quarters and
and another removeable platform for more access to the dining hall.
Underneath the dining hall is the gold and jewel stuffed treasure trove
guarded by spells and spiders.  There are four large, two-tiered guard
turrets, two on each of the long sides of the rectangular layout.  Also on
the long sides of the rectangular layout are six small half-turret guard
watch stations, four of the six being directly over where the rivers come
out.  I used four #6071 baseplates for this.  In the back of the castle
there is an archery class in progress.  I'm planning to add four fields of
veggies and a reservoir.

Hope to post pics soon!

Dave
