The snowstorm sounds really great!  That is a great Idea for the mithril as
well.  Are you going to have Merry and Pippin Smoking?  If so I'd love to
hear some Ideas for Pipes since I've got none!  I loved your orthanc by the
way.  I figure this is off thread enough that no one will really see so I'll
fill you in on my next build.  I'm working on the Prancing Pony right now,
with an eye towards Dwarrowdelf in the future.  I've been workng on Door and
fixtures for a Dwarven city and Dwarrowdelf seems like a pretty safe bet.
The last time I mentioned what I was working on in a public post, I got
deluged with e-mails asking me how long till it would be finished!  It
wasn't really that bad though, anywaycheck you later.  Jon

I'm also interested in what you are doing
for your story site (I totally dug the Moria sequences).  Jon

While I've got my Orthanc built I have to shoot pictures for the chapters
"The Road to Isengard", "Flotsam and Jetsam", and "Many Partings".  Then
there are some less ambitious scenes I want to do.  I got a whole pile of
white 1x1 plates on Bricklink, so I want to do the snowstorm that prevents
them from going over the passes above Moria.  I also picked up one of those
chrome breastplates, so I want to do the scene just after Moria where
Frodo's mithril coat is revealed (and also the scene in Rivendell where
Bilbo gives it to him).  My next major setting will be Lorien.  I've got the
"Mirror of Galadriel" scene formed in my head, I just have to get it into
bricks.
Those things should last me a while, which will allow me to spend some time
accumulating armies so I can contemplate the major battle scenes.

Bruce

If you want an idea for pipes, I've got one I'll share, even though I kinda wanted to use it first... it's ok! take one of the space levers... bend fully, and turn upside down... instant pipe :) HTH :) Tamy (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.castle)
