Thanks for the complements! I agree, in my haste to get some pics out,
additional 'dressing' was forgotten, like foliage and 'stuff'. They would
definitely add to the surroundings and make it seem 'lived in'.
I want to learn some of the tricks of image manipulation like so many out
here seem really good at. I just don't have the time to play with the
software, build, and do all the other things in life... If only I could
live without sleep, then I could do all things ;-) Anyway, on my web site,
I try to leave the buildings isolated so that people can see the actual
building and the details that went into it. Eventually, I will get around
to creating stories where entire landscapes will be built with the
buildings. Problem is, until I learn some tricks with the photo's, I don't
want to do it. People like Anthony and you have really great enhanced
images and I want to be on par with that level of quality!
Black is a very hard Lego color to get good pics. I use to 500 watt work
lights on stands and take the pics on my freezer chest and it still seems
like I never have enough light with black pieces.
Thanks again for looking at my new addition to an ever-increasing 'space
hogger'. I'm sure, like everyone else, finding space for the newest
creation is a chore.
