  Help me out please !

Hi folks ! I'm a big castle fan, but i have a problem. I am building a great army, but i wonder, i have about 8 different armies, maybe more. There's royal knights, forest men, fright nights, those Majisto guys, the classic guys in about 10 (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Nice design. I like the blue stripes going around it. The buttresses going into the roof are great. I like the use of trans-red rounds in the window crosses. -Jason (URL) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

Well, if you want to skim through what other people think about this matter, go can look at this post and its subsequent replies: (URL) that doesn't answer your question, you can search the .castle newsgroups for the information you need. HTH, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Very nice, and for those of you who have played Warcraft II ... does the first picture remind you of the human fortress? I could not find a link of a fortress online, so if anyone can snap it, I would appreciate it - for comparison sake :) I (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Regarding the new church, A beautiful little model indeed ! (Well, perhaps not so little, but it has a quaintness to it -a simplicity, perhaps, that visually reduces its apparent size to a friendly managable level.) I had thought of using the (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Parallels

The Isle of Albion = The Isle of Mist? I'll attempt to reiterate a past post: Is anyone aware that “The Isle of Mist” is almost EXACTLY the same as “The Isle of Albion.” Is this Castle World creation meant to mirror this Warhammer ® game, or did the (...)   Re: Parallels

Thanks for the clarification. And I understand your point. That ‘many of the concepts are universal.’ And a few similarities are understandable. But all the similarities… Too much for coincidence? It’s just that I know one of the writers at Games (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: Help me out please !

(...) Historically, medieval European armies were usually made up of numerous factions. Who allied with whom depended on the circumstances. It was also common for factions to change sides in the middle of battle. My Crusader [Lion] men are one (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Jeff - everything you said is dead on (since we *WERE* at your house at the time). Let me just add a thing or two: Nathan and I got lost on our way back from Arlington and took that time to talk about Castle World. We both agreed that in (...) (...) <snip> (...) Exactly - I remember that's also exactly how you portrayed it to Chris, me, Jeff and Tim (he just happened to be there).   Re: Site Update

Very nice! A good way to use up those blue 2 by 2 by 2 pointed parts, I really like the curved white parts on the roof. I need to build a church like this, my current mini chapel in my present castle in a rather pathetic affair, truth be told. You (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

It's really entirely up to you. It isn't really clear form eth legpo sets themselves just who is friends with who. One set from the early nineties has the Black Falcons besieging the Dragon Knights on a kind of wall with a gateway. Another set from (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) A little off topic, I won't even comment on the models (which I like :) ) I just wanted to say I love the layout of your site! The only thing I hate about sites like yours are that they prove someone can make a simple site look nice, and I (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Parallels (nope!)

Thank you all, and I do honestly believe it t’was a chance occurrence now. I wasn’t tryin’ to ‘over analyses’ anything, it’s just that the uncanny connection and conception of each threw me.   THE POSTING BLUES

Thanks Jason. It was the arch pieces that kinda led how the design went. I think they were from a paradisia set. I wanted to use trans 1x1 plates but didnt have anywhere near enough :) "Jason Spears" <spearjr@hotmail.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle)
