Re: Would you every buy from this place?

(...) I would never pay that much, but also I would never do that to a fig, or want one like that. It all depends on what you think they're worth. Like I always said growing up collecting baseball cards and stuff, the priceguide is there, but the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Castle sets??? - Toy Fair photos

Hi John, I think that many castle fans agree that this is a major departure from previous castle lines. I do like the parts selection and many of the figures look useful. Perhaps a degree of realism will be included in future caslte product lines. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

New Castle sets??? - Toy Fair photos

Simply my humble opinion, but it strikes me that the new castle sets are making something of a departure stylistically from previous sets. The figures, armor and weapons seem more like a cross between the MegaBloks line and the "classic" Lego (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

  My next Castle MOC

Here's a Lugnet exclusive from me. It's nothing exciting, but hey, I thought it'd be a change of pace to post it to Lugnet and not C-C. The blueprints of my next castle MOC: (URL) --Anthony (21 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Would you every buy from this place?

(...) I am really amused by all the trouble this guy goes to to change all the names from copyrighted names (superguy, etc.) but he uses all the trademarked symbols on the figs. I wonder if most people even find this stuff on ebay. -Dan (21 years ago, 15-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Would you every buy from this place?

(...) I've seen his stuff over the years - it's up to the buyer, but my personal assessment is he overcharges so ridiculously that I won't come near him. Take a look at his weapons, for example - he's taken Jeff's Little Armory Weapons and Red (...) (21 years ago, 15-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Would you every buy from this place?

Re: A wine rack I made today

It's nice to see such fruitfull and inspiring feedback. (...) My LDraw mockup has been modeled with headlight bricks, based on their common availability, and because I prefered to point the smooth top surface of the tiles 1x2 all upwards in the same (...)   Re: A wine rack I made today

(...) That's true, but your version shouldn't require headlight bricks, should it? (...) I did a quicky test using a 1x1 with four studs just to see if a tile will fit between the two bricks, and it does work. Since you'd be using 1x1 bricks to hold (...)   Re: A wine rack I made today

(...) Also you would keep the ability to atach bottles to the studs, something not possible when using the headlight bricks. I think I will try to build the two solutions for real (maybe even a combination of both), to see how practicly feasable (...)   Re: LEGOFan.net - central community run hub for all areas of the LEGO community.

Hello! (...) Well, most AFOLs already have been LEGO fans as kids and - after a periode of neglecting the brick, the so called 'dark ages' - found back to their old love. That means: For the purpose of growing hard core LEGO fans it's necassary to (...) (...) Ooh! I think I got it! There's a (URL) new piece> that's coming out this year. It's a 1x1 brick with studs on two sides. (...) I realy like yor idea, and the challenge you lay before us.
