Can anyone name a nice pov-ray text editor with syntax colors features for
windows?

There's a good, free editor named Context (sorry, I have no link, do a
search), where you can create your own syntax highlightning rules. Maybe
there already exists a set for .pov, I don't know.

It's compatible with the Delphi IDE, so as a Delphi programmer, I
immediately find all the shortcut keys.
