Hi all, Today I have put up some new renders of models at my site. Among them are the projects that are already there: Impossible figures, Infinate Waterfall (Escher), Rhino and the Black and Blue Space Ship. What is new? There is a new "Render" (...)   Re: My latest cathedral.

(...) WOW!! I'm speechless...! I love your architectural models, Brad, especially the cathedrals because they are so graceful-looking. Keep building! --Ryan (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.build)

  My latest cathedral.

Its been a while since I've done something in CAD, but I found an old flying buttress concept I did a while back and decided to make a cathedral out of it. The result is a bit smaller than previous efforts, but decidedly more unusual. Here is the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.build) !

  Lgeo woes

Hi everyone, This is my first post to the cad group. I just recently got L3p up and running and I am making use of the Lgeo parts library. While these parts are absolutely gorgeous, I have had some wierd problems with them. Some parts are (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: New future bike renders

(...) Minor correction. This shoud be: #version unofficial MegaPov 0.6; // version number may be different global_settings { post_process { find_edges { 1, .3, 0, 1.1, 1, rgb 0 } } } That should work. -Jon (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: New future bike renders

(...) FYI... Anyone rendering the Shiva motorcycle or anything using the 4x7x2 rounded windscreen needs to grab a copy of an updated part. It gets rid of those "faceted" edges on the curved surfaces. windscreen 4x7x2 (URL) yeah.. minifig helmet... (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: New future bike renders

(...) is (...) building....! (...) Glad you like em. I used Mega Pov to do the renders. Its an addition to Pov Ray. Once I was ready to render I added a command to have the program draw lines along all the edges. Here's the command line I used: (...)   Re: The Chase!

(...) And now for a shameless plug :D Here's another angle of my bike. Thanks to Jon for rendering it for me. (My slow POS computer would have taken forever :) Enjoy. (URL) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: The Chase!

(...) Cool! (...) I did but after I posted them I realized that the Lgeo renders had a few minor problems and so when I moved the scene to brickshelf I didn't post those. I'm going out of town for about a week now, (I'll still have access to Lugnet (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: The Chase!

(...) Done! :-, I'll post an update soon. BTW, in the original message you mention some renderings of the same scene using LGEO parts...do you still have those? Cheers, - jsproat (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.ray)
