As quite a few of you know, I've been working part time at the Woodfield LEGO
store since it opened last October. During my time there, I had the joy of
seeing many familiar LUGNET faces pop by, and even was able to meet a few new
people as well. I also had the great opportunity of learning a lot about how
LEGO conducts business, and how average, everyday customers (read: parents with
kids) interact with the LEGO products and the LEGO brand.
The time has come though for me to move on. I've decided to take a full time
internship/position at a local company with the potential to continue there
through the school year and also after earning my Bachelor's next spring. I'm
leaving the store so I can to continue to have time to work on my community
efforts and take a class during the summer term.
It's been great working for the brick, perhaps I will again someday!
