Yes, that's right. The moment you've all been waiting for. The new Parts Tracker is live and ready for action. Well, mostly. It's in a "pilot phase" -- think of it as a "gamma test". Nope, those are supposed to both be there. 2546p01 is the general file, the one we'll use most often. 81379 is an 'official shortcut' - 81379 is LEGO's number for the parrot piece, (...) (...) Hmm. There isn't currently any guide to reviewing parts. But there should be -- at least a FAQ. I'll work on it. But the important thing is common sense - to check a file, get the matching part in hand, and compare the physical part to the (...) (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
