Nope, those are supposed to both be there. 2546p01 is the general file, the
one we'll use most often. 81379 is an 'official shortcut' - 81379 is LEGO's
number for the parrot piece, molded in red plastic, with the green and white
pattern on it. So 81379.dat is hard-coded to red. It's flagged with an
underscore on the front of the name, so it's easy to tell that it's an
official shortcut, rather than a standard part file.

Depends. How good are you at reviewing files, and explaining to authors
what the desired corrections are?
