Didn't someone suggest using an anonymous proxy that might be located
a few hops closer to ldraw.org? There's a list of proxy sites here:
http://proxy.nikto.net/
Some don't work. The proxy at webcache worked for me. YMMV...
Or you could sample the free anonymiser at www.anonymiser.com. It was
really slow, but eventually got me there.
