  Re: Non-CA parts rewrite

(...) I agree. Posted in Mar 2006 this was not a re-write for CA-purposes, but an improvement and BFC addition. The original author still deserves credit. Header edited . Chris (18 years ago, 31-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  RE: Non-CA parts rewrite

If I remember correctly, Guy's file uses a lot more primitives, etc, etc, etc than the original, so I would say add the credit to the file on the Tracker. Can the admins do this with a header edit? (18 years ago, 30-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) We've got an affirmation from John Jensen for 2951.dat - Technic Bucket 10 x 8 but it looks like Guy Vivan was faster! The rewrite is already on the PT: (URL) and just needs to certified by the admins. Which action should be taken?? w. (18 years ago, 30-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Hi, you might wonder why LDraw.org is currently showing just a blank page. We were upgrading to Postnuke .763 to support the new Postnuke theme templating engine when something went the wrong way.   LDraw.org MOTM/SOTM Relaunch

I'm pleased to announce the relaunch of LDraw.org's MOTM/SOTM contest. Moving the curatorship has caused some trouble, but now we are back on track and open submissions to MOTM/SOTM once again.   Motion to move the LSC elections: Call for Ratification

Since the motion to move the LSC elections has been posted (URL) and publicly discussed, and since by peoples' silence, there appear to be no more lingering objections, the Steering Committee hereby calls for a community vote to ratify the motion (...)   Re: New parts header format validated by the LSC

LOL, I think it'll be totally free from bugs before I have even time to THINK about making new parts ;) Anyways, it's a relief that I don't have to worry about this too at the moment... CYA sometime next summer Cheers NB (18 years ago, 9-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Motion to move the LSC elections: Call for Public Discussion and Consensus

(...) I have no objections to this change. One thing I would add would be a statement about the fact that the dates may flex a few days in either direction due to the personal schedules (read: real life events) of the site admins. -Orion (18 years ago, 8-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Motion to move the LSC elections: Call for Public Discussion and Consensus

(...) Shifting the dates from July/August to October/November makes sense to me, as the election then doesn't clash with summer holidays. I also have no objection to serving the extra three months this time around. William (18 years ago, 7-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: New parts header format validated by the LSC
