Well, I don't have borland C++ and I'm not sure if you'd consider
it helpful, but if you were to open the source there are some things
I suspect I would do.
I'd probably try to build as much as possible with gcc. Then I might
try to replicate the GUI with something portable like tcl/tk, or I
could decide that the time is ripe to learn some other portable GUI
toolkit and do everything with gcc. On the other hand, it's quite
possible I'd do nothing.
The point is, you never know what someone will do with your source
code until you put it out there. And most of the open source LDRAW
tools have actually gotten some code from secondary contributors.

I'd like to get it to a certain level (the page layout and compact PLIs is probably it (maybe language neutral add-on interface for (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
